Applesauce Pie
Earlier in the fall I had made a large amount of applesauce using apples from my brother's in laws trees. Papa Bear isn't too crazy about it because it's too tart, in his opinion.
Baby Bear has been eating it and enjoying it but with the holidays approaching and many baked things on my to do list, I need to free up a little room in my freezer.
I was going through my recipe binders in anticipation of the holiday baking when I came across this recipe for a pie made of applesauce and thought I'd give it a try!
We topped it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream - it was delicious.
Applesauce Pie
2 eggs
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 cup applesauce
2 tbsp flour
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 9 inch pie shell
Mix all ingredients and pour into pie shell. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.

That looks really interesting!
Sounds good. I bet it was even tastier because you used homemade applesauce (that were slightly tart, love tart apples!)
