That's a great article, and clearly lists some of the top problems. It's hard to understand some of the 'politics' around the crisis. I read a good article in the Saturday Vancouver Sun paper as well. It covered some of the same points, and something that stuck out for me was that it 'takes 10 kilos of grain to raise 1 kilo of beef'. Wow, this highlights the need to recycle food as Kris says, and use less meat, making more out of less.
